Hi! I'm a SoCal based artist and writer. By day I work in marketing for a small beauty brand, and by night I pursue a wide range of creative passion projects. When I was a teenager I loved art, fashion, writing, and all things creative. I took lessons from a local artist in oil painting and watercolor and had a little personal blog that I regularly updated even though I didn't have any followers. When I was in college, I became too busy to keep up with a lot of my hobbies, but I developed a new passion--travel! I studied abroad in Taiwan, China, and Japan, and since graduating, I've been fortunate enough to travel to a good number of other countries across Europe and Asia as well.

In 2019 I decided to pick art back up again. It was a slow journey of re-teaching myself how to use watercolors, playing with markers, trying out digital art, learning how to get into the habit of practicing and studying form, color, value, composition, the list goes on. I'm no master, but the act of learning and practicing something on my own sparked a new fire in me. I want to consume less and create more!

I started this blog with the intention of both honing my own skills as a creative on the internet and also sharing my journey. I hope it will ignite the spark of inspiration in others.
